Fire destroys bar in Half Way Tree

According to a press release issued by the Police Press and Public Relations Office, officers of the Sandy Point Police Station responded to a report of Fire at Half Way Tree at about 3:20 am on 07/02/13.
The Press Release further stated that initial investigation by the police revealed that a Bar owned by Henry White of Half Way Tree was seen engulfed in fire, and that the fire was extinguished by the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire And Rescue Services-Sandy Point Branch. The building was totally destroyed by the fire, along with its contents.
The Police are asking anyone who has information pertaining to the incident is asked to contact CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-8477. Anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator or perpetrators may be eligible to receive an award.
